Amplify Learning the award winning education company hired us to create a strategy building their product portfolio communities. Together we asked; how can we engage educators in meaningful and authentic ways to build a long lasting community?

THE DESIGN PROCESS
We kickstarted the project with a user research phase to better understand what are the opportunities and obstacles when it comes to getting educators to engage with the product and each other. Working closely with the Amplify marketing and product teams we developed a research plan and conducted 1:1 interviews with a group of power users across the product portfolio. We used the user research insights in an in person multi-day sprint to co-design a strategy that delivered a clear value proposition for educators in each segment.
THE OUTCOME
By the end of the project, the humans who play team had created a visual strategy brief that outlined multiple suggestions for the design of the different programs and initiatives across the brand. The suggestions were designed to include both solutions that are easy to implement (what can we do now?) as well as solutions that might take more resources but eventually bring a larger ROI (what can we do in 1+ year). Since then the Amplify team has worked closely with us to support ongoing community building efforts for new and existing product launches.
